These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Chrome extension "mazemaze" and related websites (the "Service") provided by mojofull ("Developer"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
The Service is a browser extension and learning tool that replaces portions of text on webpages you view with a target language, supporting natural reading and vocabulary acquisition.
2. Fees and Future Paid Features
The core reading and sentence-swapping features of the Service are currently provided free of charge. No account registration or credit card information is required to get started.
The Developer may introduce premium features, such as cloud synchronization of reading/translation history, monthly progress and learning analytics reports, advanced review tools, or paid subscription tiers in the future. Any paid offerings will be clearly announced with transparent pricing and terms before launch. Users will never be automatically charged without their explicit consent.
3. Intellectual Property
All copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property rights in the Service belong to the Developer or respective licensors. Rights in the content of third-party webpages translated using the Service belong to their respective copyright holders.
4. Prohibited Conduct
When using the Service, users must not engage in any of the following activities:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service without authorization
- Disrupting, interfering with, or placing unreasonable load on the Service or associated infrastructure
- Violating applicable laws, regulations, or public order
- Any other activity reasonably deemed inappropriate by the Developer
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Translations provided through the Service are generated by on-device machine learning models. The Developer makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of translations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
6. Modifications and Updates
The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. These Terms may be updated periodically, and any revisions become effective immediately upon posting to this website.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
